Cambridge Immerse is a unique two week residential educational experience with a diverse and enriching curriculum. The Summer Academy for Math and Science provides rising high school seniors with a strong interest in computer science, engineering and/or the natural sciences, with the opportunity to achieve essential skills necessary to pursue and complete majors in STEM fields. The Experiences in Architecture program at The Catholic University of America is an intense three-week, pre-college workshop for students interested in architecture or other design-related fields. The Reynolds Young Writers Workshop at Denison is an energizing 8-day program for motivated high school students (rising juniors and seniors) who love to write. For over 20 years, the Reynolds Workshop has brought together young writers who are passionate about writing and eager to connect to a close-knit community of writing friends. The workshop is held each June on the beautiful campus of Denison University.
Drexel's summer academic programs are summer camps open to highly motivated high school students who wish to explore what a university-level program is all about. Workshops are led by Drexel faculty and utilize Drexel's labs, facilities, and the city of Philadelphia's many resources.
Duke offers challenging educational adventures to motivated, dedicated and talented high school students who possess a desire to learn in a unique setting.
Conducted on its campus by Earlham College, the program provides high-ability high schoolers with the opportunity to develop college-level skills while sampling college life. Global Leadership Adventures operates summer volunteer programs for high school students exclusively in authentic, non-tourist communities. No summer is complete without adventure. Each country has its own treasures. Our summer programs are built to create meaningful cross-cultural exchange and give students a total cultural immersion experience. Through field classes and engaging projects, students explore sense of place, leadership, and environmental ethics. At the end of 5 weeks, students leave HMI inspired by the natural world and ready to dive into their next year of high school with confidence and curiosity.
The science camps seek to promote scientific literacy among high-school students. These camps are designed to instill a deeper appreciation of what science is about, the idea that science can be challenging as well as fun, and the idea that science is both exciting and practical. Having attended a camp, students will come away with the view that today’s science is an interdisciplinary and cooperative endeavor.
Residential High School Intensives and Workshops provide focused, practical, hands-on experiences. In this supportive and creative environment, as relaxed as any summer camp, students immerse themselves completely in their chosen creative outlet. Students at the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio's Summer Residential Program spend two weeks living the writing life in Iowa City, Iowa, a mecca for creative writers. Students take core courses in fiction writing, poetry writing, or creative writing (which includes some combination of fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction) with teachers who are students or graduates of the renowned Iowa Writers' Workshop. Students in the Summer Residential Program share their writing with teachers and peers, receive constructive critique, participate in writing exercises and activities, and attend readings and literary events.

The Summer Business Institute (SBI) program is LEAD’s longest running Summer Institute and is considered the “flagship” program. The SBI program exposes scholars to business principles and the skill sets needed for successful business careers. During LEAD SBIs, scholars reside and attend classes on-campus at a select number of the nation’s top business schools for three or four weeks. Other Ox-Bow classes run concurrently with these courses, providing Pre-College students with a sense of community as they interact with other artists taking classes.
Oxbridge Academic Programs has been offering summer study opportunities to adventurous students in grades 8-12 for over 30 years. We are based in some of the world's best universities, and in historically and culturally significant cities, across the UK, Europe, and America. You can choose two subjects - a major and a minor - from a range of more than 200 subjects. Phillips Academy's Summer Session in Andover, Massachusetts, is the premier summer academic enrichment program in the country helping students from across the United States and around the world to achieve their educational goals. Students come to discover a form, others to hone their practice, and all connect with the faculty and make use of the resources on campus.

The Summer Writing Institute at Rhodes College takes place annually for two weeks during June and is an intensive residential academic program committed to developing the critical thinking and writing skills of ambitious high school students. Sewanee's Pre-College Field Studies Experience is a summer residential program for talented students who are passionate about the outdoors and interested in advancing their knowledge and skills in the study of the environment. Led by full-time faculty at the University of the South and utilizing its 13,000-acre campus atop the ecologically diverse Cumberland Plateau, the program provides an interdisciplinary introduction to environmental studies.

It is only a short walk from the residence to classes, the main piazzas of town and the restaurants where meals are served. Students are supervised by faculty, staff and resident advisors who live at the convent with the students.
